WHAT WE TEST AND WHY

  • Heavy metals (ICP MS): screens for lead, cadmium, arsenic, and mercury with strict pass criteria. 

  • Microbiology: screens for key pathogens and overall counts to confirm safe handling. 

  • Dentity and Potency (HPLC or UV Vis): confirms genuine shilajit and reports fulvic acid percentage. 

  • Adulterant Screening (LC MS MS): includes screening for PDE 5 inhibitor analogs, a known adulterant class in the category. 

  • Moisture or Water Activity: supports stability and shelf safety.

  • Fulvic acid percentage is reported on every COA. Our internal minimum target is 50 percent, and typical lots can test higher depending on harvest conditions.
